Default ASUS P5N7A-VM: Cannot get ethernet card to work

Does anyone know if the latest NVIDIA 185 drivers support the ethernet port. I have been able to get this driver to build and work for this MB, but I cannot for my life get the ethernet port to be recognized. I have tried forcedeth, r8168, and nvidia drivers, but nothing is recognized.

Doing a lspci does show that it is there as an ethernet controller, NVIDIA Corporation, unrecognized device.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you ever get this resolved? I am having the same issue. Trying to install Mint 7 x64 and can't get the ethernet port to work.
