Default help can't boot to windows 7 after reinstalling Vista for dual boot

Had vista 64bit on another drive and Windows 7 on my main drive, but formated my 64bit vista drive and installed the 32bit version because of software issues. Now Windows 7 isn't showing up anymore because of this.

yes, because the bootloader was on the primary partition aka vista drive.

try this
http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/.../EasyBCD.shtml

it might be able to detect win7 partition, and add the info to bootloader.

I noticed that too.

The bootmgr likes ot move around from drive to drive and when you format that drive its gone.

I had an issue with a setup where i had the sata raid on sata ports 4 and 5 and the sotrage dirve on sata 0 and 1 and it put the bootmgr on sata drive 0 instead of the os drive which i don't why it would do that since the OS is intact on sata ports 4 and 5.
