Default Stuttering mouse / keyboard after Driver install on Fedora 11

I upgraded to fedora 11 this weekend and upon installing the NVidia drivers from RPMFusion v185.18.14 my mouse seems to stick for a short period every one second or so, holding down a key in a terminal shows the same behaviour. If I uninstall the nvidia package everything returns to normal, no more stuttering mouse.

Code:
uname -r -s
Linux 2.6.29.5-191.fc11.x86_64
Strangely Xorg CPU usage seems to be sitting at about 20 to 25 percent which seems high to me.

Default Re: Stuttering mouse / keyboard after Driver install on Fedora 11

Apparently I'm the only one with this issue.

I've noticed that its not just mouse and keyboard but pretty much everything in the X server, videos play back with a brief pause every one second. Scrolling a window stutters at the same rate.
