I have the Razer Copperhead laser mouse + Exactmat plus I've tried quite a few laser mice but I can never seem to find one that feels as good as the old fashion ball types I had...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...Tpk=copperhead One test I use is try to trace small text with my mouse, can you trace it fairly closely with your mouse or does the pointer jump all over and look as if it was drawn by a 5yr old? In other words in a paint program could you with your mouse draw a small font word (without zoom) and have it look reasonable, here's my attempt with my Copperhead +Exactmat: ![]() With my old ball mouse it wasn't perfect but it was a hell of a lot better than with any laser mouse I've ever used... If you can trace text nicely with your laser mouse would you please share which model it is... Or if you have a nice ball mouse that cleans easily and traces nicely, please post... the main reason I got away from using the ball mouse was cause I found myself digging dust out of it every couple days... Thanks, Vanz |

I went to my old PC that has a ball mouse and sure enough if was way easier do fine movements and trace text, slightly different brush size but here's my ball mouse attempt....
![]() I've played with all kinds of sensitivity settings, and if I set my laser too low it takes like five swipes to get across 1920 size screen... Regards, Vanz ps. Should also say I'm into graphic design stuff, so with my current mouse I have to zoom way the frick in to get the same detail I used to get with my old ball mouse... |

Our Logitech LX8 cordless laser mouse works pretty decent I think.
