Default gpu fan speed

hi there,

would it be possible to lower the gpu fan speed directly after nvidia.ko gets loaded? maybe settings a sysctl options or something like that? because there's definitely no need to have the fan running at full speed when only working on the console.

Default Re: gpu fan speed

This item is also on my wishlist for a long time. For developing purposes I often have to use the console without Xorg. The fan of my 9800GT is VERY loud when it is not controled by the nvidia driver.

It would be very useful to have a possibility to regulate the fan outside in text mode.
