that is nice of them

last time when i tried to play Mech4 I had an issue with sterring wheel, for some weird reason controls always defaulted to my sterring wheel. never could figure out why, and gave up on the game.

The Daishi and Direwolf are the same mech. And I liked using all lasers (and PPCs). Even a torso would go down with one shot.

Itd be sad if Living Legends gets canceled (copyright issues, even though they got permission... they might take away from sales)... theyve put so much work in to it that it might even be better than MW5.

I haven't played much Mechwarrior in the past, but I don;t see where the skill comes in... two giant robots are kicking the crap out of each other right in front of each other... seems like who ever has the best weapons to amour ratio would almost always win?

Although walking around in the giant mechs does look cool.. until the novelty wear off that is...

I noticed that the battle in the video was pretty goofy looking... they were just standing there.

If you go look up videos of the old MechWarrior games, they are usually running all over the place.

In none of the MW series was what you see in the video 'normal. Well, unless you were playing with a bunch of noobs online.

In the older games, you could expect DFA's, small fast mechs like the Orion with jump jets and enough firepower to take out an Atlas if skilled enough. And a full salvo of missles wouldn't kill you unless you were already seriously damaged.

Guess you never had the pleasure of playing any of the MW series. Think of it as a mix of First Person Shooter and a Sim at the same time. Bigger mechs have certain advantages and in the past it was about getting to the bigger mechs... This game will focus more on the diversity of the different classes and their specialties...

If you didn't know this MW4 and the addons will be made available for download for FREE. It might give you a taste of what's to come.
