..PC wasn't lead. Both developed at the same time independently.

According to a graphics engine member of the developer's team, they did in fact work on two versions simultaneously -- the console versions and the PC one. Said member also divulged, while supervising a hands-on preview for MMGN, that "you should see this on the PC, it looks amazing."

..maybe he was referring to videos made on the console then if the graphics look so dated to him.

I think we should all worry about the FOV and whether or not we'll be able to adjust it, rather than worry about pretty graphics. Just about every console port of today suffers from this issue.

I'd bet it wouldn't take long for someone to figure it out if there's no setting for it.

Personally I would happily sacrifice a bit in the graphics department if the game play is good.

The sad part is that no one figured out how to fix the FOV in Bound in Blood

Oh I didn't know that. Hopefully the next version of chrome engine makes it possible. Bad FOV is irritating.

There's so much content in Dead Island, it's a real shame the work wasn't done to take it from functional to fun. Some of it works: There's a beautiful world to explore here, some genuinely neat ideas and cool weapons. But the end product too closely mirrors its antagonists: Shambling forward, but only just.

September 9 here in europe

First thing you have to do is start a game, check the FOV and then make a quick post here
