I'm considering buying this HDTV to swap with the Acer X233H monitor that I'm currently using on my PC, and using the monitor in the bedroom for TV reception using a HDTV converter. The question for me is whether the HDMI connection on the Sceptre would work properly using a DVI-HDMI cable between the PC and the TV? The reason that I'm asking, is because the Acer didn't. When I called Acer support, I was told that since my video card only had DVI, that I had to use a DVI to DVI cable. If I can't use the coverter cable, the only other option would be to use a VGA cable, but that requires an adapter also.
Here is the HDTV in mind: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...y=REVIEWS#tabs
