In 3D I might like it but nvidia doesn't support my glasses anymore. Too bad about the US date.

same thing here. and because you cannot move and shoot at the same time it adds to the "small spaces" feel of the game.

It's survival horror, it's not a run and gun game style. If you want to run and gun you are going to want to play something else. It's called survival horror for a reason.

So being a cripple adds to the survivability and horror of the game?

In the original games the "crippled controls" worked well because they were slow paced and more adventure games than action games.

In 4 and 5 the controls stand out as lame, because they made them shooters.

What's up with all the console shooters controlling like you'd be at the wheel of a tank? I couldn't get passed the first level on the 360 thanks to the very clunky and slow controls(and I hated the over the shoulder view).

Are the pc controls any better?

SecuROM itself is not a bad thing, it depends on the kind of SecuROM. For instance, the baddy bad bad one is the one that requires activation online and gives you limited tickets. The goody good good one only has a disc check.

Every game and it's mother has a disc check.

Anyway, I got it on Steam, and it has nothing but Steam.
