Default Geforce 8200 IGP with Mythtv and vdpau report.

Mythtv with digital audio out and vdpau:

Drivers tried.

185.18.10 = Video tearing on h264 content, no audio drop outs.

185.18.14 = Video tearing on h264 and mpeg2 plus audio drop outs.

185.18.29 = No video tearing but still audio drop outs.

185.18.31 = No video tearing but still audio drop outs.

185.18.36 = No video tearing and no audio drop outs.

190.18 = No video tearing but still has audio drop outs, glxgears fails and qvdpautest fails ( These both fail on a 9500GT as well ).

190.xx = Actually works. (please) or should I give up and buy a 9400 ?

Why do you think the NVIDIA graphics/video driver has something to do with the audio drop-outs? It sounds like 190.18 is working OK from a graphics perspective?

Because the audio drop outs don't happen with the 185.18.10 and older drivers.
Also I have no problems with another similar machine (analog audio out) with a 9500GT in it.

Looks like we have a winner.
185.18.36 has no tearing and no audio drop outs.
