Don' know how much true is in it but I heard that DX10 compatible hardware need to have some kind of chip for anty piracy. Dunno how much true is bout it.

now can you image the input lag when a controller signal would have to travel tenths, hundred or thousand miles, cloud gaming would kill all type of gaming that requires quick action reflexes.

cloud gaming might be ok for turn based games, and that is about it
The minority are you mean... cloud gaming will work for 50% of the gaming population.

And your mom and sister already play bejeweled online, so that's 3/4 of your family.

Potential target audience of 75% there. Good numbers.

This will be really bad for us australians. we get ripped off in broadband prices. unless the content is stored on a local server/free content via isp. this is gonna suck donky balls -.-.

I think Telstra still charges $150AUD / 1GB.

not to mention when u go over ure limit and ure shaped to 64kpbs

I pay 100AUD for 70Gb, but all content from Xbox Live, Steam and Gamershell is free. Also ABC iView and SBS among other things.

I pay $40 for unlimited at 16kbps.

Tampa has a local-ownded cable company and their prices, service and content is really awesome. We have local stations actually worth watching, and much better on demand than I experienced in Philadelphia earlier this year. Small companies are awesome.

what are u with?

i got telstra Cable extreme, its really great speed and uptime is solid, but 25GB, but u know at the end of ure biling cycle u get a few hours free download.

i just love the down speed tho, 4mb/sec+~, and gamearena/files.bigpond.com is great since they host a lot of the stuff

but i gotta say internode gaming servers/gamesite hosting is way better...too bad no cable -.-

adsl is pretty bad in our area.

90AUD/month. downloading games off steam is so fast :P
