Missing OpenGL extensions on FX cards
We are using an OpenGL extension, GL_EXT_shared_texture_palette,
in our program. This is present on GeForce4 cards, like the Quadro4 980 XGL,
but not on the newer GeForce FX 5200 or Quadro FX 2000.
They are running the same driver; 1.4.0 NVIDIA 43.63.
The nVidia document about supported extension do list GL_EXT_texture_palette
and GL_EXT_shared_texture_palette as supported on NV1x, NV2x AND NV3x!
What is happening? Is there a way to "enable" these extensions? Will they

When using glxinfo on my MX420 the extension you are talking about appears, but when enabling nv30 emulation using __GL_NV30_EMULATE=1 it disappears. It looks like a driver bug to me. Perhaps forcing an option like this helps as a temp workaround: __GL_NV25_EMULATE=1
