Default DVD Mastering

With the advent of large capacity Blu-ray equipment, it would be simple to put multiple movies on a disk, but I got to wondering how a person would go about creating the DVD with a menu, like many movie DVDs have, so that a person could select a movie and go directly to it, instead of having to FF to it's location?

You create your own menus with most burning suites like Nero. Nero would be good place to start. Basically you'd have to prepare the DVDs probably ripping them as vobs then using Nero to rebuild them on one disc with your own menu.

Nero I know, but only in terms of ripping and burning. Which part is used for the menus...NeroVision?

Yup, NeroVision. It's basic, for something more professional, you'll want DVD-lab Pro, but for basic home use to just select a movie, Nero should suffice.
