I managed to grab both 64 and 32 bit ISOs in 3 hours.
Try to get them using Akamai not File Transfer Manager. Akamai is so much faster I was getting over 800k. Or do what mailman says, find the files elsewhere if that works and just use your key. |

I came in this morning to find my initial download stalled at 49%. Went back in to discover they moved it to "Top Downloads" which utilizes Akamai's CDN. Now I'm pulling it down at 4MB/sec.
Now where is my precious server 08 R2?

I simply chose to wait for the legit Microsoft Technet copy rather than one that was obtained another way and posted by a 3rd party.

Well, it's all done. Everything is installed and running fine. My 64-bit machine and my wife's 32-bit machine. Not seeming any difference from the RC, but I didn't really expect to either. Now it's back to business as usual.

32bit 7 is better than no 7. I have 32bit on my HTPC and my lappy will soon too. Just for compatibility with a few programs and devices that cling to 32bit.
My desktops are 64 all the way. : : |
