I have 2 GTX285 I need to setup in SLI.
they both take 2 x 6 Pin power. Anyone know how to take an 8 pin connector and reduce down to a 6 pin? |

Some of them will seperate and let you remove the two negative wires. If they don't then you might can find a 8pin to 6pin adapter .You could take a box cutter and cut the two extra black wire off ,but this would be messing up your power supply incase you ever needed a Pin connector again.I thought I had a pair of 8pin to 6pin adapters ,but I can't find where I put them. Here a place where you can buy them ,http://www.ecrater.com/product.php?pid=5738317#
Other places sale them too.
