I think it's more based on the recent movies, which don't have that.

most of us have disabled it and prefer the extra FPS over some papers blowing around though

Its too bad things like PhysX and DX10 just steal FPS. So much for progress.

In all honesty I'd buy a gtx295 right now if accelero had released it's cooler for it. I hate noise and don't trust water cooling enough and stock cooling noise is unacceptable to me.
