Default Bionic Commando Feedback Thread

So from what I understand there probably isn't much of a need for a feedback thread but I'm really board at the moment, I'm trying to decide if I'll get it or not. I was looking forward to this game but I'm not sure now.

So far I've read and seen the box states "DirectX 10 enhancements" yet not a single person that owns the game so far has figured out how to run in DX10. The graphic options consist of a resolution setting and gamma. The game itself is very linear and there are no open areas what so ever. Swinging is not really showcased very well and is somewhat boring. I can't say anything about the controls since I haven't played it but I hear the auto locking is annoying and has a bad mouse acceleration feeling. This is what I've read through my few searches, anyone have it yet, what do you think?

The two things preventing me from buying it are the lack of AA and the forced Xbox button prompts... if they (or someone else) fix those two things, I'll get the game.

I think I'm going to simply pass on this one. I read nothing good about it and the Xbox button prompts are the nail in the coffin.

Yeah, it's pretty lame to not even have proper input graphics.

The lack of interest is strong in this one.

Bionic Commando, is, apparently, a flop, as, is, my use, of commas.

Fantastic game. I would even say Capcom quality in the gameplay department even though it was developed by Grin. Talk about nailing the swing mechanics!

Fun, fun, fun. If you have a 360 pad for windows - donīt hesitate.

I remember playing it on the Nintendo Entertainment System. I used to love that game.

Why did it review so poorly? How was the difficulty?

Not all reviews were negative. Here is a swedish review that gave it 5/5:

I play on "Commando", the hardest difficulty and i think itīs perfectly balansed. Hard at times but fun all the time. I canīt recommend this game highly enough and it surpassed all my expectations.

I have it for 360. it's ok but not great. zero punctuation's gripes with the game are spot on (as usual)
