I do not see much whining here. Don't confuse a critical review with whining. Lack of AA *is* a big deal to some of us, including myself. Considering how every single idTech 4 game I can think of supported it, it does seem strange this one does not. I see a lot of jaggies @ 1080p.

yea I think so too. My issue was the mushy controls, made it feel like some of the $15 PC games.

The mouse and keyboard controls in this game are as perfect as I have ever had. You are nuts.

Forcing AA through Nhancer with STALKER profile works, but drops my FPS from a locked 60fps to 20-25. Not worth it.

I dunno man, using Win 7 x64 RTM with the logitech drivers loaded and over-riding OS acceleration. I have no other game issues - but this one the controls just feel very laggy and "mushy". I'll give it another go tonight and play with the control settings a bit. Do you have vsync on or off? Did you tweak the mouse sensitivity in game at all?

Well I turned off aim assist, though that might be for controllers only. I upped the sensitivity a lot... I know when I first booted it seemd sluggish and I was worried, but then I moved the sensitivity up and all was grand.

I don't mean to belittle other people's complaints, but I found Wolfenstein to be a breath of fresh air since it has perfect mouse response, compared to most other recent games that do not, so it is odd to see complaints about it.

If this game has the severe head bob like Stalker did and no way to turn it off, that may be enough for me to skip this one. I absolutely can't stand the screen bouncing up and down as I'm playing. Bugs the living crap out of me. I don't even like much weapon bobbing (Crysis had the perfect setup, a slider to tune the weapon sway just the way you wanted it), but screen bobbing, forget it.

I've only watched the trailer so far but don't see the similarities to Quake 4 at all. I still play Quake 4 (still one of my all time favorites, fun as hell to play). I didn't get a Quake 4 feel at all. I think it should be combared to RTCW (looked like the same game to me, like the guys took a lunch break after making RTCW and then came back and did this one, even the voices sounded the same), not Quake 4.

After having watched the gametrailers review I'm really torn if I should get this game now or not - liked RTCW very much and this just seems like a whole different game. So is it really worth 45 or should I wait?

This game is cool but the head bob, FOV and laggy control is killing me. Almost instant headache when playing it. Taking a break now, the veil is sweet though!!
