Hmm... It is tempting to buy a UK version so I can get the Full OS insted of the upgrade for alittle more (payed $99 for the upgrade to Pro). Is pro discounted aswell or only Home?

Every MS OS that I've ever installed (going back to win 3.1) has always defaulted to English US.

I think the keys are the same.

Few friends here in US, when they bought a new PC (XP/Vista) asked me to change the language for them to PL.

I found the OEM PL disc and reinstalled the OS used the OEM keys and it activated fine.

Also on technet you can download almost all software in different languages, and when you change XP or Vista for example to Japanese it still displays the same Keys, doesn't give you option to request new key.
