Also, you want the wave lengths as long as possible, so hitting both sides of the display, thats when it will turn green.

Have you tried hitting Killer Croc? That's the point, he is so deadly Batman can't risk it, especially on his turf. It would be like trying to play street ball against Bigman on the mean streets of Chicago. Or casting an Aard against you on the grassy plains of Poland.
So we do what we can, throw basket balls at Bigman from a distance and distract you with nudie collectors cards. Either way we are still fighting bosses.

I'm a fan myself. Not that I ever had any complaints of the games made off that engine looking "Unreal". They just did a damn good job of making it look their own. Kinda like what Raven did with the Doom 3 engine and Wolfenstein.
