nice try - its a custom GPU and sure it was based off G70 (which is nothing to write home about).

GPU (RSX Reality Synthesizer or CXD2982)

.... but I dont see Nvidia on there anywhere

Wow, the fail is strong in this post.

If it's based off G70, who would make the modifications? Sony? That's rich lol.

Ah why? Because I refuse to have less content and good controls? I give you that most of the time, kb+m = awesome. But based on the demo of this game, I would have murdered myself trying to play this with a keyboard and mouse.

Or am I annoying you since I beat the game already while you are waiting?

Lol... I am just kidding anyway. I know you PC guys will enjoy the game, in 3 weeks I will personally be busy with Rock Band Beatles myself.

In his talk he covered quite a few topics, and some of the bigger ones were that of the RSX and 90 nm products. Currently the RSX is still in development, and no actual silicon is available as of yet. Looking at Sony's timeline, I would expect the RSX to be taped out by the end of this Summer, and that first silicon will be available in late Fall. Once all the little problems are fixed and the design is working as it should, Sony will take over production and pay NVIDIA a royalty for the use of their technology.

You're still wrong. Read what you quoted:

Sony will take over production.
The chip is designed by Nvidia, completely.

Right, but that says that Sony will be producing them. In other words Sony is now making the chips!!

You do know that Nvidia does not make a single chip right?

Got the PS3 version, really great game so far! Wish I had more time to play it today. It reminds me of a Metroid game mixed with Metal Gear or something.

Whatever, "the way it's meant to be played" is on a PC not a console. Can't remember the last time my 360 was even powered up.
