Default FX 5500 Slackware

Hi. Iím using Slackware 12.2. Every time I try to install the Nvidia driver, I get two error messages: first, it says there is no kernel source, even though I have the source at /usr/local/src/linux. Then, I get the GLX error. I have attached the nvidia-installer.log.

Iíve also tried following the instructions at http://www.basicconfig.com/linuxtips...lackware_linux
But to no avail.

Can anyone help me? Thank you.

Have you tried what the error log suggested?

echo; \
echo " ERROR: Kernel configuration is invalid."; \
echo " include/linux/autoconf.h or include/config/auto.conf are missing."; \
echo " Run 'make oldconfig && make prepare' on kernel src to fix it."; \
