Hey, if it sells a load of PS3s and becomes the top of the line sim racer again then more power to them. As a PS3 fan much more than a 360 fan, that would make my day.

I just think it's a pipe dream and will never happen with Forza coming out this Fall.

I am getting it for sure, love the GT series. But now I have to find a good deal on the PS3 Eye . Even though I know it won't happen I'd love to see GT5 on the PC for only one reason my wheel is so much better to use on the PC cause there is a desk to hook it up too. I have to build some kind of smaller like stand if I want to use it with the PS3 cause the G25 on your lap sucked for GT5:P when I rented it.

The funny thing is I thought the Forza demo was good and if MS didn't do all the restriction to controllers and let any USB wheels work on the system, I'd have probably bought it also. I avoid all racing games on the 360 because I won't buy a MS only wheel. Same thing with the rhythm games, even though I'd rather just play my real guitar, I won't every buy a console one unless the controllers work universally on any platform cause I just don't want to make room for them.

Cool Re: Gran Turismo 5 official info

TGS gameplay videos of Merc SLS AMG and Ferrari 458. Both cars look amazing, the game looks great apart of few little glitches. These guys are really good

Although the sad part is it seems it is only 65% complete and Japan release is march 2010. So that the earliest.

What? LOL It has been said that GT5 is already COMPLETE and that they are only waiting on the PSP version so they can launch it all at once.

Link please on the 65%?

So it took 4 years to do the first 65%, but the remaining 35% will be completed in 6 months...Either math is not somebody's strong point over there, or they've really been slacking until now.

The percentages are definitely off. I saw that supposedly Ratchet and Clank was 80% complete or something and that one is coming out in a month.

They are taking so much time so hope they will get everything right. All Cars and tracks from GT4/GT5P would be redone, I remember they said something like that

So, you are taking the word of somebody on a FORUM, over the president of Polyphony saying at E3 that GT5 was COMPLETE? SrRd Racing has even admitted that this didn't come from gtplanet, and that he is posting this on Gamespot "to get traffic".

If you want to believe a forum poster...Masi_23 is saying that PD will announce it after Oct 1, and that Ratchet and Clank is listed as 80% with a release date of October? According to Masi_23 he says "GT5 EU/NA Release Date = Roughly mid to late November 2009!"

Kaz (from Polophony) said GT5 was complete, and that they were waiting on the PSP version for launch (this happened at E3).

However, Sony could have made them push it back, but PSP GT Mobile is out, so who knows?

IMO, PD and Sony is waiting for F3 to come out then spoil the day.

Magus says it was a demo. Why people would pay for a demo, or think that it represents the full game I have no idea.

The official Japan release date is March 2010 so you can expect the U.S. date will be a few months later than that....June? That's IF IF IF the release date doesn't slip any further ala Duke Nukem Forever.

I would buy Forza 3 in a minute if my old DFP would work with the crappy 360. I'm hoping that Dirt 2 and Shift will keep me busy until GT5 is released.
