Magus says it was a demo. Why people would pay for a demo, or think that it represents the full game I have no idea.
Not sure why I was quoted here. Somebody care to explain this to me?

I am not up playing the importance of the demo. I am saying that if you think GT isn't popular you would be wrong because a DEMO for it has sold very well at 20 bucks a pop.

$39 when it was released, now it's selling for $29, not $19.

Now, for starters, there's going to be deformation damage -- scratches and stuff -- for all normal cars, but race cars are going to take hits hard in a way that will cause doors and side panels to tear completely off.

This is how cars look in photomode GT5 http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost...96&postcount=1

400,000 polygons 100 more than GT4. Also he says he says you can reverse your game that means rewind option will also be in GT5

Is GT5 more for the advanced player or can beginners play too?

We do have a setting for people who are just learning how to drive. The other setting is very strict, where even an F1 driver can learn new tricks from the system. However, a lot of driver's aids will be included, such as driving lines, ABS, automatic braking, you can reverse your game and record your laps and share them with others. All those things. They were not that difficult to implement.

Must be great to know that all that money will be recouped and then some. Not to mention the money they already got from the prologue.

Yup, picked up GT5P for $12 bucks 2 weeks ago and it is (so far) well worth the $$.

Now if I had paid full price a year or so ago...probably not.

Finally got a Driving Force GT wheel and can't wait until 5 rolls out. Off to get all golds on S class (fingers crossed)..........
