Is it a good game? Or did you enjoy playing it?

The "Or" does not fit...

Very good game. Although recent RE games are shooters and don't follow the classic RE formula (Dead Space was actually more RE than RE itself), its still a good game. But, the franchise needs a reboot. They should keep the new controls (just improve them a bit) and bring the game back to its roots, creepy, slow, struggling to survive...

Resident Evil 5 is a very good and nice looking action game. Now some people could get annoyed at the AI of Sheva but I didn't really have any issues since I did my own item management between levels and starts. The game is MUCH better with two players. Its worth owning if you know someone else who will buy the game and play with you (or some folks here who buy the game can share their live gamertags.)

RE5 is a great game and i enjoyed it, the PC version will run even smoother and has better graphics. Plus its got mouse support. A must play for any survival horror fan.

It was good on consoles, but i feel its gone wrong direction, too much action and not much horror like old ones i miss that

PC version gets released 19th September if I remember correctly.

RE5 is one of my favourite games of the last few years, but it may not be suited for everybody. It plays more like a shooter/action game unlike like the early horror RE games, and the controls will take a little time to get used to if you play a lot of FPS games. It has great coop support, so I'd say it's a must buy if you have a friend to play it with.

I much prefer the old ones... the REmake on Gamecube, which sadly I do not own anymore, was the scariest, freakiest game I think I ever played. The new ones are shoot 'em ups with bad controls.

That said they are still impressive games, for the most part.

Hmm, just checked the store I pre-ordered it from and it's listed as 18th: http://www.megastorenorge.no/templat...itemid=2137154

I'll see if I can find any official announcement from Capcom.

Edit: http://shop.capcom.com/store/capcomu...ctID.148951400 - It's listed as the 15th in Capcom's own US store so I'm gonna say that's the most reliable date.

Totally agree with you. RE 4 was the turning point. A great game, on of the best of is generation, but far from the spirit of RE specially from the mentioned Gamecube remake.
Ah the crimson heads.....
