Correct, and yes, under certain circustances, they matter. In others, not so much. It all comes down to the type of game for me, really.

If they said first quarter I assume it will be end of march, if release was on january they would just say january.

So it means a 4 month delay... great

I don't mind 1 or 2 weeks later for piracy concerns... I can deal with that. I barely noticed with Batman.

Months though... that's just a bunch of crap.

At least now they are being honest and not blaming piracy... but the desire to bring the best quality to the PC. In other words - we dont want to put out a crappy port.

I said this weeks ago though...09-02-09, 10:28 AM

"I'd say avoiding a shoddy port is more likely the reason for the delay... "

As long as they are honest I dont care if its delayed but dont try to blame piracy for everything PC related.

I just love pc gaming. It feels just great for me. I have pc since I was 7yo. now I am 20...

S3 2mb 14inch screen Mommories
I love the freedom with the pc. thats all. I dont want crosshair in game but there is no option? I find a way in some cfg to turn it of. I dont like controls? Not a problem. I can do mostly anything!

I am not another of those pc fanatics who hates consoles. I had 360 for year (It proded and I sold it). And It was quite fun. GTAIV was running awesome and played just incredible. controlling with a 360 pad was also quite good and intuitive. Graphics were ok with vga Cable plugged to my 22 sammy. Overal I liked it a looot. True. There was mostly no aa or af and around 25 fps in most games, But it played good anyway.

The point is that I felt locked in mainstream cage. I couldnt change most of things etc. It was somehow boring. And I couldne say why. I guess I am that pc type of person who likes to feel kb+mouse and power of his 8800++++etc

Also new 360 games are 2-+3 or even 4 times (!!!!!!!) more expansive which feels wrong paying more for game I can do less with.

And try to search for non casual games on Console. Stalker? Cryostasis? anyone?

Too bad GTAIV on pc looks and works like **** with in overal makes me want console again:P

As for AC2. If I had a console I would get 360 version proboably. Just becouse of time. But if those would come out at same time and pc port wouldnt be an utter crap the choice would be easy...

Noobisoft are pretty much a lost cause now for PC gamers. Even though I now have a PS3 Slim I won't be getting it for that when I know the PC release is early next year. I don't really know why they need to delay it so long though, they miss out on the xmas sales boost by doing that and clash with a lot of other delayed games that are coming early 2010.

I would have thought early December would have been a realistic option, cuts out that piracy window if that's what they are after and sneaks in for the holiday sales and doesn't delay it too much. I guess in some ways the fact that Ass Creed 2 is still coming to PC suggests that 1 did enough to be profitable.

I'm becoming accustom to being ****ed up butt with AAA titles as a PC only gamer. Can't wait to see what kind of crap will be pulled later next year. Gets better and better every time.
