Totally agree there. When an opponent is "pushing" you from behind you can't feel it, unlike the other racing games. Thus you can't avoid easily the sliding.

Game is good though, i'm enjoying it so far. Some minor issues here and there but overall it is good

Then I tried my 360 pad using the Analog Controller Preset. Damn, it's even worse. In addition to the lack of feedback, there's now a lack of precision as well - simply horrible

The game has some nice cars and looks very good but I can't enjoy it...

Racing Experience my ass
MaXThReAT, can you please post a screenshot of your control settings (deadzone, sensitivity...)? Thanks
Here you go, hope it helps. I don't believe I change anything, was my default. I do fiddle with the car setting. Tire pressure and sway bars. Fixed any under/over steer I didn't want. What wheel are you using, did you get that Prosche wheel and pedals? For my G25 I used 300 degrees rotation. I can understand it not being your cup of tea though, I've seen your iRacing profile. I think its pretty fun and one huge giant turn in a better direction for NFS.

The left and right triggers do. This has worked for all PC / 360 port overs. Pure, NFS series, DiRT, Grid, etc. Not sure about Wireless but with a wired 360 controller they do (we arent talking about 360 knock off controllers, but a real MS 360 PC controller works fine)

Game is pretty good actually, huge improvement over the last 3 if not 4 NFS games. I run it 1920x1080 (16AF+4AA), all ingame settings maxed out and it is very fluid and in my opinion the best looking racing game (except track modelling).

I play it with a G25, 360 degree rotation, Pro mode, all assists disabled, manual shifting, and while the physics (with the default car setups) can be a bit strange but once I tweaked them a bit it's actually fun to drive and challenging in a way. Yes it lacks a bit in the physics, tire model and track detail department but its the best NFS in years and more fun to drive than something like Forza2. I had not imagined that a NFS game would keep me entertained for several hours during a single session (Rang 12 atm).
