keyboard all the way: make S your quick turn, E interaction, F storage, x move back, middle mouse button > partner interaction , also grenades on 123. btw give that girl a rifle, it sucks with a handgun (i need more ammo!) XD

This game is just stunning to look at on a consistent basis... it might have a poor texture here and there, but it's the best looking game since Crysis easily for me.

I am enjoying RE5 much more than RE4 so far... it could be the actually decent PC controls, or it could be the graphics... the partner thing is ok, not annoying but not great. I'll probably play through it over the coming days.

I thought that from the screen shots posted this game looked amazing. Well it doesn't compared to the 3D version. WOW, it is bloody incredibly amazing looking. Best I have seen so far in 3D. I wish I could post shots for you to see how much better it looks than all yours so far. Damn this is cool. 3D FTW.

I like how "checkpoint" and "saving" are two entirely different things.

Lost a good amount of progress... well, not that much really, and I did better the second time, but still.

Honestly I don't like that though. It should save at every checkpoint. Not a great system if you're in a hurry and just want to play for a few minutes.
But it allows the game to be exploited. If you've noticed, everytime you start from a saved location and progress through but do not reach another save point. Quit the game and restart from that original save point and all your health and equipment still remain. Then continue playing through again and you'll be able to re pick up any of those items. This includes ammo, health, treasures, money and even weapons. Repeat this as many times as you want, technically you can get unlimited money and ammo just by doing this over and over again.

Played through the mines tonight... good times. The controls are a bit annoying during heavy action, but it keeps things tense, which I suppose is the point. A lot better than RE4 controls, anyway.

Gonna keep playing.
