Can't wait for this game. After the sore disappointment that was DA2, I really am looking for a good RPG.

Might start another play through of The Witcher before hand.

Dam i was going to get Witcher 2 on Steam, but it looks like Australia is being a homo as usual.

The prices have been jacked up and it is also the censored version. It is not Steam nor the Developers fault on the pricing, they are being forced by Australia to jack the prices up to match the retail store value.

Pricing aside...censored....is going to be lame.

You can go now and start the preload for Witcher 2 at GoG . Finished my preload and awaiting Tuesday.

K007 have you tried to order it from GoG? One of their latest announcements was the removal of using IP addresses to pinpoint your geolocation. Though you still might have an issue with your CC# but they accept paypal so maybe you can get it that way.

You can now get the uncensored from gog no matter where you're from. Game looks awesome, but I'm waiting on a new rig for this one as well, hopefully by end of year

The strongest part of the game?

Nonlinearity is the game's greatest advantage and tops almost all the bold expeditions in that field made by other developers, including - at this point already outdated - system of morality patented by BioWare. The branching storyline - both in terms of the main AND the side quests - will make players return to the game several times. And they still might not experience all of what the developers have prepared for them. [...] Witcher 2 consists of three acts, fastened on both sides by a lenghty prologue and a short epilogue. Unhurried gameplay takes about 24 hours.

Regarding what the other guys said about GoG, here's the recent announcement:

Looks good, plus no DRM of any kind...

Yep i am getting off GoG. i would still like to add it to steam, but i guess australia can go **** themselves.

you download it straight off the gog site, and its just a .exe file that is the installer, no drm / and no need for client like steam to be active and also no active Internet is needed other than the download time....

these guys are also connected the the wither dev....everyone should be buying from them...
