Default NVRM 190.25 prevents hibernate/suspend

I have installed the 190.25 kernel driver from JYA's ubuntu repo at avenard.org. Since I installed the driver, pm-suspend and pm-hibernate no longer work correctly. It seems as if the userspace processes get suspended correctly, but when it comes to suspending the drivers, the NVRM driver doesn't suspend and the process is aborted.

Bug report log attached. Also attached is an extract from /var/log/messages which covers doing a suspend with the nvidia driver loaded, and another which is a suspend with the driver unloaded.
