Default SLI and an onboard graphics problem...

So I couldn't find an answer to this anywhere else on the forum, but I'm sorry if I repeat!

I have a 780a on my motherboard and two 9800 GT's that I want to run in Ubuntu in SLI. I have configured the xorg.conf file in a ton of different ways, and nothing seems to work. When I check my log file, it always says that there are 3 graphics cards and so it can't run SLI, or it says "Fatal server error: no screens found." I'm about at my wits end right now! Please help!

Does your 780a have an onboard GPU?
If so, have you tried disabling the onboard GPU in the BIOS?
