Default Tri SLI coming in 190+ ?

I have a rig with three 260s and the Tri SLI bridge slapped on. I found to my dismay in 180.x and 185.x that when enabling SLI with all three cards in, I would get a polite little error in the log telling me that I did not have a supported configuration. I tried this in 190.x for kicks one day, and found not only that SLI appeared to be working, all the little bugs you generally found in early 2-way support were back.

Unfortunately 3-way does not seem to be usable at the current time. I tried various modes: AFR results in alot of flickering, SFR, only one third to one half of the screen is drawn, the rest being all black. AA, any fullscreen OpenGL applications result in the whole screen going black.

I've searched for a decent changelog and I cannot seem to find the mention of Tri-SLI support anywhere in the pipeline. Perhaps an upcoming, unannounced feature that slipped through the cracks?
