If you are using Alpha version - this means that you have some understanding of what you acctually have. I've recompile the kernel without debug options and 190.36 works fine. The reason of why did 185 version compiled may be inside nvidia blob in kernel driver, but you should also understand that 2.6.31 is not the same as 2.6.30(29.....1) and some kernel mechanisms may be changed - that's why NVidia developers insert necessary changes and "broken" driver.... Driver is working and the only thing you need is to recompile kernel (just get SRPM and use my instruction) or just wait until beta release. |
