ASUS N51Vn with GT240m and 190.36 several problems.

Hello, I'm having several problems with the card GT240m on a ASUS N51Vn laptop, with video and the HDMI audio output.

With video, when I restart the X server or switch to a tty the refresh rate seems to change and then in console and under X the screen is flashing and appears ugly waves.

Regarding the audio, the card is not recognized by the system, I tried compiling the latest alsa drivers and libraries but the card does not appear in the output of command "aplay -l", I also tried to add the ID card in sound/pci/hda/patch_nvhdmi.c without result.

I had the same problem with the fuzzy screen, but my audio works ok. Asus N51vn, Fedora Core 11, both driver version 190.36 and the one that comes with Fedora (nv) has the same problem.

Sorry for the late reply. I have FC10 i686 and FC12 x86_64, both recognized the audio. I recently installed NVIDIA driver ver 190.53, shaky screen still occurs.

I just noticed my system had 2 audio device, 1 from Intel, and another from the NV chipset, the one FC recognized is the Intel Audio, sorry for the confusion.
