I have it on DVD and since 1.5.0 you don't need to DVD in the drive to play so there's no reason for me to buy it again. If I still had to put the DVD in the drive I would have thought about it.

OMG, FU EA! I get Shift through D2D and now it's available on Steam. Grrrr!!! Why does everything have to be such a big secret all the time?!

Also, back on topic, is BF2 still big enough that it's worth buying now?

Still over 10-15,000 people playing on weekends. Tons of servers full and the booster packs just got released for everyone so many maps in full rotation.

OT: Man, game monitors show that frontlines: fuels of war has only 5 players online. All from australia. Must be the craingers.

I've been playing Forgotten Hope 2 mod for BF2 for a couple weeks now and its great.

Reminds me a lot of Red Orchestra.
