Default Quadro NVS 450 Dell 3008wfp

Looking for some advice here. Have Dell dimension T5500 loaded with Quadro NVS 450. I have (2) Dell 3008WFP connected via Displayport each running at 2560x1600. Everything works perfect and am planning on adding another two 30" monitors.

The problem lies when the monitors get set into "sleep" mode. Once this happens the only way to wake them up is by going to another virtual console then back or by unplugging one display port and back in. Have tried latest beta drivers to no prevail. Tried with xinerama and twinview, end results are the same. This does not happen with this setup and DVI connections. Any thoughts?

Notes:
RHEL 5.3 x86_64 (Both Gnome & KDE are problematic)
NVRM version: NVIDIA UNIX x86_64 Kernel Module 185.18.36

This is a known problem in the driver's DisplayPort support that I hope to resolve relatively soon, though the fix won't be in the next release.

AaronP,

Thank you for the reply! This issue has been an issue preventing moving to our next platform. However after your response I checked and I did not have the latest beta version.

I loaded version 190.36 on our machine and the monitor says entering power save mode, flashes, then turns black. However the lights on the monitor stay blue and never turn amber. We are still to able to wake up which is nice!

Thanks!

Yeah, the behavior changed slightly, but it's still wrong. I'm glad the new wrong behavior at least works around your problem!
