Default WinXP SP1 and refresh rates??

hey,

1 ) it was rumoured that M$ have fixed the refresh rate problems in windows xp, is it really true??


2) dont the nvidia compressed modes override it anyway??

AFAIK, no, they're STILL not fixed.

That's M$ for you, probably going to be in WinXP Second Edition.... heh. "REFRESH RATES FIXED!!!!!! SPEND YOUR $90 NOW!"

Just use RefreshForce. Best utility there is for that kind of stuff.

You got that right. It's just as easy and fast to use as using Windows display properties to change.

If refreshforce does not work out, and you have a nvid card, you might try nvreftool. Get it from guru3d or elsewhere. It is my fav and hasn't let me down.
It is supremely easy to use.
