steam and drivers?

I installed a fresh copy of vista 64 home premium Should I install my Creative X-Fi Titanium and my nvidia graphics drivers before I install W7 upgrade?also should I start downloading all my games from Steam?My W7upgrade will be here later on its "out for delivery"
