I quite liked the lighting and shading in Forza as well and considering it is running on the Xbox, I am quite impressed

The graphics look like they are a little better than Forza 2 but the lighting/shadows and cabin detail are much nicer.

I am assuming the Shift video is a full-on PC setup? I can't picture those graphics on a console, although the blurring might make it possible.

With rFactor all depends on the mods (freeware) you use.

Not a Pagani Zonda but it shows the difference in quality:

Shift looks fantastic, but i don't like the car handling. You can see the sloppy handling even in the video.
The lighting in Forza looks really good.

Totally agree, shift is severely underrated. I tried out fm3 the other day and it felt very plain and boring compared to shift especially in the ****pit view, the sense of speed that shift gives is amazing.

It's a demo, the full game is a lot better than FM2 eventhough it doesn't look a hell of a lot better. But if you base your whole opinion about the full game from just trying the demo you are way off the mark tbh.

I really hope Shift turns into a Forza/Gran Turismo competitor in the next version offering tons of stock cars and fun career, if there is a next Shift that is. PC really needs a game like that.

Forza was an amazing game. If Forza 3 takes that an advances it with new vehicles and game-play and graphics, I am all for it

I have no idea why Forza 3 doesn't show up on the PC just like other Windows Live games.

I think the parts customization in Forza is really great. But the single reason I will not buy Forza is the steering wheel issue. My Logitech DFP won't work on the crappy 360. Works just fine one the PC and PS3. That's why I prefer GT5 on consoles.
