Playing through the middle levels of Borderlands, especially on inside levels, with AI on aggressive enough, you would see many textures screwed up and be visualized as nothing more than black or gray, flat surfaces.
See below. ![]() Turning off AI fixes issues like this. That is what I did and have had no problems since. |

not everyone is so lucky to have rich parents
10,7 and borderlands is broken thats a fact but in other drivers the catalist ai is working ok, in standard it gives you 2-5fps boost without loose of quality ( in benchmark ) |

Maybe once AMD 3D support is good enough I will look at buying their cards again, but until then, it's Nvidia only for me. This game is really nice with 3D Vision.

$7.49 on GFWL until tomorrow, so I finally pulled the trigger. Loving it so far.

Here's a config tool for Borderlands. It's probably been posted here but I thought I'd post it if it hasn't already.
http://gbxforums.gearboxsoftware.com...ad.php?t=85874 Allows you to fix the FOV, force vsync, disable startup movies, hold crouch, toggle zoom and enable HQ bloom and fog volumes as well as other stuff. I had the FOV change binded to F11, but some other game installed a new direct X and suddenly everything was reset. So I found this and no more f11 tapping after exiting a vehicle, I just set FOV change to sprint key, so all I have to do is sprint which I do anyway. Works fine with the steam version of the game too! I'm just playing my second playthrough of the game on PC (4th all up) once I get a bit into this I'll start playing the DLC. I don't have claptraps yet I think I'll finish the others before buying it. How does Claptrap Revolution compare to the other DLC?
