There is a workaround if you're a NON us steam gamer

Quote:
How to unlock the game and play it NOW [Australia/Europe]
1. Go to http://anonymitynetwork.com

2. Click "Start your free trial" under the WhoIs information

3. Enter in a valid email address

4. Login with your new credentials (which will be emailed to you in a few seconds)

5. Click "Dowload VPN tool" just inside the "PPTP settings" box.

[Note: The VPN tool is compatible with all versions of Windows including x64 Vista and Win7]

6. Open the VPN tool, click connect

7. Enter your PPTP password - NOT your regular password. The PPTP password is inside the box labeled "PPTP settings" when you're logged in

8. Restart Steam once or twice

9. Double click borderlands, unlock it

10. Click "file" in Steam, then select offline mode

11. Play the game 3 days before release

If this is against the rules, feel free to bin. But i thought i'd help out everyone.

Proof for anyone who doesn't believe (i live in Australia)

Having a blast with friends and my brother. Lvl 24 now, and I've seen some great stuff, just not to fit my bill. Had a blue cmd rifle drop for my bro who was a siren. Luckily got it, and now I'm rockin!

Damn man level 24, geez I just hit level 15 tonight.
They sure weren't kidding about the number of different guns in this game.
I've already seen so many different guns and upgrade things.
I just want a rocket launcher at this point.

How do you save your progress in the game? Does it use quicksave, or do you have something like automated check point system?

It's an automated system, it saves at these respawn points and when you quit. No manually saving options.

Yep, (4870 1GiG), no problems. Rename Executable to ut3.exe. Force AA via CCC.

The only thing i've turned off is ambient occlusion, the game seems to run fine.
Everything else is either set to "ON" or "High", AF is 16x.

Does this nhancer fix work if the game is run through steam? I cant rename the exe becasue of steam.

How does nhancer work? Is it a program that will always run inthe background?
