Just finished the demo. I'm going to have to with hold any real feedback until the full game is out.

Rather disappointed.

That's too bad, how about dishing out some first impressions followed with the screen shots... worst than the first one?

How does it compare graphically? From the screenies and videos they looked almost the same.

It's not a huge leap forward, but it does look better. It helps that the demo level is set while the sun is still up so you can see more detail. Also there's a lot of nice little touches that have been added, for example the infected (both special and regular) look a lot better and you can shoot chunks of flesh off them (and sometimes they'll keep coming even with huge wounds on them) instead of just a limb here and there. Also a lot more interesting infected, like former police officers wearing bullet proof vests, not to mention a variety of weapons.

Some quick shots I took:

Guitar Hero! ...Sorry

Bulletproof zombie!

Lucky screenshot of the damage effects I was talking about.

Why does the FOV in those shots look jacked up?

It does? Hmm, just the way the game looks I guess, I didn't notice any difference from the first one FOV-wise.
