I installed windows 7 on a new hard drive to test things out. I have my old hard drive set up as an extra drive. I wanted to access files on the old drive that was on my desktop so I go to D:\Users and when I try to open the folder with my user name its blocked. How can I get to my old files with out booting up the old hard drive and copying all the files in my user name folder to another location like the root.

Windows seems to say "NO! ..... Oh alright then"
Seems kind of pointless to me.
