Default Nvidia developer on phoronix.com

I don't know how many people know about the existence of the article "NVIDIA Developer Talks Openly About Linux Support" on phoronix.com, so I'm going to post a link here:

http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?pag...qa_linux&num=1

So before somebody complains about drivers not being open source or why there is no KMS and so on, read this first, it makes things much more reasonable and clear.

However, the number of Linux driver downloads from nvidia.com is only 0.5% the number of nvidia.com Windows driver downloads. Of course, many Linux users get our driver through distro packages and other means that wouldn't be measured in that download figure.
If they would contact the distro's repos I'm sure they could fetch some download stats.
