Those kinds of graphical bugs are always in the distance though, and in my playthrough so far are very rare.
I admit, the graphics on the whole can be lacking. I think the design of most areas overcomes the lack of detail, I started in the city and it looked very magical and interesting. Other areas though, like the wilds in the early quests, look quite drab and boring. It all kind of depends on where you are it seems. Character models look great though, to me, including armor.

Seriously, have you never played an RPG before? And quit comparing it to WoW, you sound retarded...this isn't an MMO. Quote:

The graphics is a downside...but the gameplay/story is top class. The character models are ok, the arms are all very very strange tho...but the background textures are quiet horrid at times...and it does stand out a lot.
Its kinda sad because the game doesn't seem to be demanding at all..which suggests they could have squeezed in more detail. |

What do you think about the crappy crappy run/walk animation (as seen from behind) of your character? Do you also find that in every other game? Or do you think it's fitting because it's an aaaargpeeegee? *let's see if I can get you riled up here* :P

Anyone able to get rid of the shimmering? Usually don't complain about this kinda of stuff but in Dragon Age is really distracting.

Seriously, next he will say that D&D does it wrong also... which CREATED the RPG Gaming Scene. A true RPG is about your character changing and growing throughout his experience, not just acquiring better gear. I have said this in the past, that is the reason I do not call Zelda an RPG. |

I am still really disappointed in my performance in certain areas such as the Grey Warden's camp... 35 or so fps when I look around towards the more congested areas but like 70+ when I look towards the forest. This is in the zoomed in view.

I played it for a little while last night until I got to the Wilds area as your initiation test for the Grey Wardens. I like it, I haven't played a solid RPG in a while, not since NWN2's Expansion Pack anyways. The graphics are kind of old but I am able to play it at 1680x1050 with 8xAA and 16xAF very smoothly, however that doesn't effect me as much. Overall a pretty fun game.
