Just installed the game after a fresh Win 7 reformat

Gaming rig has been sitting off for about a month, kinda pulled out of gaming for a bit. But this game has intrigued me.

Where can I find that? And is it official?

EDIT: I found it...

http://dragonage.gulbsoft.org/doku.p...ity_hotfix_101

And its unofficial but its made by one of the developers. So... hopefully it doesn't screw up the game later on once it gets patched.

Be careful with that patch. Although characters can use Dexterity for damage bonuses as they should, all creatures in the game get the bonus as well. There's going to be times when you're faced with two or more rows of archers. And even without the fix, it was a real mess to get through.

If you don't have the Warden's keep DLC, there's a Storage Box you can download and use for your campsite that works wonders.

Also, there's a tweak to allow your character to have more inventory space. I've posted the links a few pages back in this topic.

Hmm... I think I'm going to go without that patch then. I'll wait for a proper fix and I'd rather not take the chance of screwing up a saved game.

And is there really no storage box without the Warden's Keep? That's kind of lame.

There is. One of the Bioware staff made it as a demo mod. Download it from the Social Site.

You don't need a storage box anyway... *feels superior*...

And that dexterity fix is only for daggers I thought, so archers would only be affected when they switch weapons, and they SHOULD have those bonuses, so I don't see the issue there.

There are two fixes.

Dagger fix for daggers only.
Dex fix fixes all des issues, but makes the game really hard when facing more then a few archers.

I recommend the dagger only fix as the game can be kinda tough even on easy.

Just put a few hours into this game.

So far so good.

It hasn't really "grabbed" me yet, but I've barely done anything at this point. I just entered the wilds for the first time.

Its going to take a little while to get comfortable with the interface and the role playing system. This is quite a bit different than Risen.
