Default Problem with text mode...

This has probably been covered 100's of times. I've not used the nVidia drivers before today, but I installed them (RH9 fresh build) and it installed fine. I haven't tested everything yet, but I've got a problem with switching back to text console mode (it's the default text mode I'm using, not a hi-res one) which means shutting down is a problem too. The screeb just goes blank, and the PC stops responding. Blindly entering commands has no effect.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hmmmmm... even more odd, I've fixed it, and I'm not sure why!

I was building a test kernel for something else, built it, but didn't boot from it. However, text mode is now working

Ah well, it's working and thats the important thing!
