Default Visually impaired gamer sues Sony Online

What's next, sue because they can't drive? I mean discrimination sucks, but we need to be sensible. Sony is a company, as far as I'm concerned, it has no real obligation to cater for anyone else except those who it sees as it's target audience.

Hahahaha... wow.

Actually I took a Disabilities in Society class a couple years ago and we made presentations and some girl made one claiming that limiting driving privledges for deaf people is discrimination.

I hope they tell this guy to go **** his hat...then to be nice....Sony could arrange some sort of assistance to insure that he ****s his own hat and that it's done properly and promptly.

It sucks that some people cant see as well as others, or cant see at all, but honestly, filing a lawsuit against a company for discrimination, because they dont cater to your every whim, just because you have a disability? I see alot of things that dont cater to people who have impaired vision, its not discrimination.
Discrimination would be me making an "audio" dvd, then having a custom UI with 5x5 pixel buttons that you must find and click on to listen to the next part, on a random part of the screen, in order to not allow the visually impaired to listen to it

A prompt, proper hut ****ing is clearly needed in the case.

BTW I'm suing the Guide Dogs because they wont provide me with a guide dog. I'm also suing America for not letting me be an American citizen. Just because I was born and raised in Australia doesn't me I can't be an American.

I'm also suing all those bitches who failed to sleep with me when I threw drunk pick up lines at them. That's discrimination, just because I'm not a gay football player that will rape them doesn't me I shouldn't get laid.

I tried to be a ballerina, but they told me I couldn't be because I am a 6 foot tall man who weighs 250 pounds.

DISCRIMINATION!

Maybe he is just trying to make the public aware of his situation.
Since gaming companies are already ignoring their customers it's certainly not easy for a minority to get the games they want.
I guess poor little Sony will survive that.

It's unfortunate, but why should a company HAVE to cater for his needs alone. I do sympathize, and I would die if I couldn't game, but I would go so far as to decide one company should be forced to make games just to suit a very small group of people.

Public awareness is one thing, but this is not the way to go about it. Why not better spend his time working on ideas how to make games for the vision impaired, rather than sending letters, get frustrated and wasting time and money on a court case. That's if the thing even gets to court. Or he could just support the developers who have made games that suit. All this because he wants a hit of Evercrack.

He's probably the type of guy who walks through a cafe swing his cane wildly to hit as many ankles as possible, or makes a commotion at a night club to get the music turned right down because it's scaring his guide dog. (This was a guy I went to Uni with). He actually took his dog to the nightclubs and damned the music turned down.

This is ridiculous. Sony should offer a service but charge $10k for it. That will teach the ****er.

It's like a deaf person sueing a record company or a company that makes CD players and MP3s.
