Hello dudes.
I have an laptop Sony VAIO VGN-AW310J, with Nvidia 9600M GT grapchics card. I'm using Windows 7 64 bits (Ultimate), and i'm not being able to play blu-ray discs. If i try trough Windows Media Player, it says the disc has been produced in a format it doesn't know. If i try trough CyberLink, it says incompatible graphics driver. Well, i found out my driver was really old. The problem is, windows wasn't allowing to install the new version one (from nvidia's site) and was picking up a driver from windows update (driver from 2008). Well, got a modded inf and installed the driver. Now the CyberLink BD Advisor says my driver isn't compatible (With the old driver it said it was all compatible(Why not, its a windows driver, huh)). Well, my question is, what can i do in order to play the blu-ray discs ? I'm a Computer repair technician and this problem is really fuc***** with me. My costumer is getting annoyned and if i don't fix this i'm gonna have to install Windows XP. It'll be a waste of power to install XP on this laptop. It won't even recognize the 4GB ram Well, i hope you guys can help me. Thanks Pablo |

Try a Vista x64 driver. Fixed issues I was having with the wife's laptop.
