Yup, I did have it set up that way, but the fact is...it's still a third party application. Also, if you do not have it running, itunes will not run. I deleted privoxy off of my machine and I'm back to using FF.

Right now, it's not worth the trouble.

Well when you set up privoxy, you're literally setting up an internet proxy, so any application that uses the internet will not run properly.

I use Chrome because it's just so much faster than firefox. I hate slowdowns. But to each his own. In time, Chrome's extensions will grow to be just as good as firefox.

Well I am finding that I am using Chrome a lot more than IE8 now not. Not total sure if I will stick to using it, but it is much faster than IE.

Yep can access it fine here.

If you are accessing from work, maybe need to work on your proxies or have a chat with your admin.

If you are happy with FF, stick to it.

I just prefer Chrome's speed and stability, the extensions became secondary for me, but that is my personal preference

It won't be too much longer until we get a good ad-blocking extension for Chrome. Then everyone will flood to using it.

I just thought this morning, it's been over 2 months since I last used FF. Privoxy has worked out great for me, even thought I'd rather use an extension. Chrome FTW!

Ad-block has been out for Chrome for a while. It is still being tweaked but it works pretty well.

There are other options as well, for flash ads and what not, that can also be customized.
